PA PROVIDENCE — Zoning board approves three variances for housing, livestock, farm business. The Providence Township Zoning Hearing Board unanimously approved three zoning variance applications on April 14, with the board chaired by Brad Duvall and members Omar Smoker and Robb Beiler present. Variances were granted to Noah Z.
Esh for an ECHO Housing Unit at 88 Truce Road and to Benuel F. Esh for non-commercial livestock keeping at 281 Clearfield Road. Jacob Fisher, represented by counsel Curtis Sebastian, received approval for a farm support business at 477 Sawmill Road that would include a petting zoo and pick-your-own pumpkin and Christmas tree operations, with neighboring property owner Dawn Montgomery raising concerns about well water impacts during public comment.
