PA PROVIDENCE — Providence Township's Parks and Recreation Committee discussed recreational facility improvements and restrictions. Township Manager Vicki Eldridge announced plans to apply for a 2027 Local Share Grant through Pennsylvania DCED for trail improvements between Manor and Sadsbury Townships. The Board of Supervisors has restricted electric bikes to Class I vehicles on the Enola Low Grade Trail and banned all electric bikes, motorcycles, scooters and unicycles from the Local Mountain Bike Park, effective January 1.
The committee's next meeting is scheduled for April 2027.
