Supervisors reorganize: Schroeder named chairman; grant awarded

PA PROVIDENCE — Providence Township supervisors hold annual reorganization meeting. The board unanimously elected John E. Schroeder as Chairman and J.
Pepper Goslin as Vice Chairman. The supervisors approved a $46,800 state Green-Light-Go-Grant to upgrade traffic signal control at Truce Road intersection, with the township contributing $11,300. The board also accepted tax collector Andrew Odell's resignation and authorized the County of Lancaster to collect real estate taxes.
The supervisors reappointed Vicki Eldridge as Township Treasurer and Secretary to the Board and approved three December sewage permits generating $1,785 in revenue.
