Providence Township Board approves $9,990 schoolhouse air conditioning replacement

PA PROVIDENCE — Providence Township Board approves air conditioning system for schoolhouse. The supervisors voted 2-1 to award a $9,990 Bosch air conditioning system installation to Red Truck Heating and Cooling, with Chairman John E. Schroeder opposing the measure.
The board unanimously authorized advertising for seal coat and chip seal bids, with a bidding deadline of April 1, 2026. The supervisors also unanimously approved the sale of surplus equipment on Municibid, including a 12,000-watt generator, AC welder, Yealink phones, and metal band saw. Resolution No. 26-05 was adopted unanimously to compensate the planning commission's alternate member for meeting attendance, and the board granted two 90-day extensions on development plans for Holtwood Mechanical and Moses Glick.
