Board rejects stormwater proposal after litigation discussion

PA PROVIDENCE — Providence Township supervisors voted to reject a stormwater removal proposal at 900 Lancaster Pike following litigation discussion. In separate votes, supervisors unanimously approved a stormwater easement agreement for New Providence Church of God at 269 Cinder Road and deferred land development review of a proposed Amish schoolhouse at 539 Clearfield Road to Martic Township. The board ratified May expenses of $139,908.86 and authorized $15,730.81 in transaxle repairs for a belt loader shared with Paradise Township Co-Op.
